Position Overview:

The Medical Waste Route Driver CDL A role involves servicing assigned accounts using Tractor Trailer combinations, ensuring exceptional customer service for waste pickups and supply deliveries. The primary responsibility is to transport medical waste adhering to DOT regulations and company standards, prioritizing professionalism and safety at all times.

All Company vehicles are equipped with camera telematics, ELD, and GPS for enhanced monitoring and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned routes to pick up customers' waste safely and efficiently.


• Transport medical waste in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.


• Plan daily schedules based on customer needs and route information.


• Ensure all waste is properly packaged and prepared for transport.


• Provide top-tier customer service and communicate any issues for resolution.


• Perform pre-trip and post-trip maintenance on assigned truck.


• Report any maintenance issues promptly for corrective action.


• Utilize ELD and Geotab for logging hours in adherence to DOT guidelines.


• Complete any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience driving Tractor Trailers (GVW 80K lbs.)


• Valid Class A driver's license with a clean driving record.


• Ability to obtain a medical card from a certified examiner.


• Must be 21 years of age or older.


• Proficiency in English to understand traffic signs and regulations.

Certifications:

Commercial Driver's License A (CDL A), Medical Examiners Certification.
