The Construction Project Coordinators primary roles and responsibilities support all aspects of the construction process that include the following.
Customer Satisfaction
o Introduce customers to our construction services during the mitigation process.
o Assist with the customer service experience throughout all construction activities.
o Assist with scheduling all construction activities.
Project Initiation
o Enter leads/jobs into the operating system and confirm all project information is correct.
o Schedule CM initial visit with customer.
o Educate customers on the construction process.
o Review and validate project file documentation.
Project Planning
o Confirm with CM project scope of work is complete to ensure client agreement on scope of work.
o Support CM and customer communication during material selection process.
o Ensure all paperwork and payments are complete with customer.
o Schedule inspections with building departments.
Project Execution
o Order materials and supplies as needed.
o Update project schedule and timeline.
o Update contract status with change orders and keep customer and CM advised.
o Maintain Work-in-Progress (WIP) report.
o Maintain internal and external communications.
o Upon project completion review file documentation and update as necessary.
o Manage collections activities.
o Perform project close-out.
Necessary Experience, Education and Skill Set
o 1-2 years of trade business industry experience
o Superb customer service, administrative, verbal and written communication skills
o Working knowledge of current business software technologies
o Intermediate math skills
o Experience in the restoration and/or construction industry preferred
o High school diploma/GED & Associates/bachelors degree preferred.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
This role will be a combination of being in an office environment, driving and on jobsites. This role would require the abilities of sitting, standing, walking, and driving. Additional lifting files, transporting materials and occasional exposure to extreme conditions such as heat, loud noise and general construction site conditions.
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements
This is a full-time position, working 8:00 a.m.5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This position may require longer hours in support of emergency services, and some flexibility in hours may be needed depending upon the business needs.
