- Learn Optical Skills: Shadow experienced opticians to learn about frame selection, lens measurements, and fitting techniques.
- Customer Service: Assist patients in selecting frames, providing recommendations based on their prescription, face shape, and style preferences.
- Lens Edging: Acquire knowledge of lens cutting and edging processes, including shaping lenses to fit frames accurately.
- Frame Adjustments: Gain proficiency in adjusting and repairing eyewear to ensure proper fit and comfort for patients.
- Optical Dispensing: Assist in dispensing prescription eyewear, ensuring accurate lens prescriptions and proper frame adjustments.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory maintenance, including ordering, receiving, and organizing frames and lenses.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and maintaining patient records.
