Clinical Payment Analyst I - Santa Clarita, CA

Job summary
This position is responsible for various financial analysis activities for the Clinical Study Payments Team including but not subject to new study budget review study and site budget set up invoice processing customer service inquiries Major and On-going Job Duties: Acts as a liaison and consultant for specific study team's monthly analysis budgeting quarterly forecasting and annual strategic planning processes Responsible for generating and processing clinical study reimbursements which include invoices and quarterly payments Assist in the facilitation of new study budget set up quarterly payments and special reports Support internal external audits by preparing providing relevant reports analysis Special project analysis support involving clinical study payment data Work as a liaison with the Clinical Study Data Systems team application enhancements Performs analysis of clinical study payment data per defined requirements Resolves facilitates resolution of problems identifying causes problems prevent re-occurrence problems Promotes confidentiality financial other data times Reviews updates adheres Standard Operating Procedures Researches payments issues accuracy presents findings departments necessary Review contract grant agreements financial risk billing issues Prepares monthly projection analysis report Clinical Trials provides anticipated associated financial revenue upcoming visits Reviews visit accruals in Clinical Study Payments Application Other Duties Remains current developments field(s) expertise Performs related functions responsibilities assigned Experience Training Equivalent education level experience required Must have years' experience finance/accounting Years' experience invoicing Experience automated accounting systems Strong knowledge relational databases preferred Demonstrated familiarity MS Office Word Excel Demonstrated oral written interpersonal communication analytical presentation organizational skills Ability meet deadlines work independently adept handling multiple assignments timely manner meeting assigned deadlines Strong analytic skills demonstrated capacity accuracy Ability interact people levels organization professional manner Ability maintain confidentiality sensitive information Able analyze processes procedures recommend improvements Preferred Bachelors Degree Accounting Business Administration Computer Information Systems Prefer experience manufacturing environment clinical research environment Use SAP Enterprise Software highly desirable Experience Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services Analysis Services plus Other Skills/Characteristics Working general supervision accountable completing routine moderately complex assignments accurately time accordance departmental procedures Errors will have impact teamorganization results Takes initiative ensure work done accurately completely Performs assignments complexity Company policy procedures specified parameters FDA rules regulations Applies existing work methods different known situations Problems involve recurring routine non-standard situations consults supervisor senior level personnel department complex problemsJob description
