    JOB TITLE:
    Solution Architect


    FLSA CLASSIFICATION:
    Exempt


    SUMMARY:
    As a Solution Architect, this person is responsible for translating high level concepts into detailed multi-discipline solutions. This individual will assess the needs and expectations of customers and implement technical solutions to maximize customer satisfaction.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Serve as the liaison between multiple departments designing projects, including participating in phone and video conferences with vendors, teammates and clients to coordinate designs and complete solutions
    Work alone and with others to create of technical configurations, statement of works, proposals, and other pre-sales work outputs
    Design and submit solutions to vendors for validation and pricing requests
    Prepare quote solutions for clients based on information gathered from our sales team, engineers and vendors
    Follow standard processes and manage workflow related to the creation of pre-sales deliverables
    Create solution diagrams, collect and review requirements from customers, and perform other pre-sales activities in support of engineering initiatives
    Provide configuration support for products and offerings from our key strategic vendors
    Communicate concepts and ideas effectively both verbally and in writing across all levels of our organization and with our clients
    Coordinate and communicate IT architecture designs and concepts between our sales force, engineers, and clients
    Participate in weekly meetings with staff and management to discuss results, opportunities, and necessary improvements
    Work closely with sales, service and clients to investigate and assist in solving the most demanding problems and provide accurate reporting to all parties involved
    Interact with customers and answer questions about PERRY proTECH products, technologies, solutions, and offerings from our OEM partners
    Research new technologies and technical issues and become a subject matter expert
    Stay abreast of developments in the technology sectors
    Participate in technical training enablement programs and complete vendor certifications

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    A Solution Architect works primarily in the office and must be able to sit for an extended period of time.

    This person may be required to travel to offsite meetings and other PERRY proTECH branches as needed.


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Associate degree in computer science or equivalent work experience

    A+ and Network+ Certifications are a plus

    Working experience with Microsoft server or Networking solutions (Cisco, Fortinet) are a plus
