- Provide Engineering and Design services for Occupied Buildings and Enclosed Process Areas requiring HVAC and/or Plumbing Systems.
- Provide technical expertise and oversight of HVAC and Plumbing Engineering and Design by Project Teams.
- Develop and maintain Global Specifications and Details.
- Perform HVAC and Building Assessments.
- Prepare conceptual and schematic designs for/construction documents of HVAC and Plumbing systems.
- Assist in cost evaluations and comparative analyses of HVAC and Plumbing systems.
- Provide technical support to Maintenance, Project and Site Teams with issues relating to this area of expertise.Required experience and skills include:
- Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people and cultures.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing Systems for all types of industrial occupied and non-occupied building applications.
- Ability to perform engineering, design, and management of multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to work within and adhere to defined budgets and schedules.
- Proficiency in design software packages including AutoCAD, Revit and MicroStation.
- Proficiency in business software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
- Proficiency in typing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.Education:
Minimum B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
Work History:
Minimum 10 years' experience in HVAC Engineering and Design
Licensure:
Licensed Professional Engineer preferred.
