JOB DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate will work with the Integrated Display System Replacement (IDSR) Program Office within the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to provide information systems engineering, functional analysis of ATC/M system requirements, development production, and test and evaluation of information systems. The position includes, but is not limited to, systems engineering activities oversight, demonstrated expertise with new and legacy systems, technical alternative analyses, acquisition management of information systems, and information management tools.
Travel (10%) outside assigned work area.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree and a minimum of 0-5 years' experience required.
MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Software test experience, such as validation and verification, test plan/procedure creation, manual testing, regression testing, etc.
National Airspace System (NAS) and/or weather experience.
Linux experience.
CLEARANCE:
US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
