    Description
    Position Introduction


    The Sustainable Living Summer Counselor will participate in leading camp participants on their journey in learning about the environment and real-world applications of sustainable practices.

    Minimum Qualifications


    • Currently enrolled in College
    • Must be able to manage confidential information in accordance with College policy.
    • Minimum of two years of work experience
    • Demonstrated ability to organize work efficiently and productively
    • Demonstrated interpersonal and public relations skills
    • Preference given to applicants who have previously taken a Sustainable Living course or any of the SMC Environmental Studies courses.
    Schedule


    • 10 hours of community building/help with student recruitment during the spring semester
    • 30 hours of training during Senior Week
    • 60 hours during the week of the program
    • July Summer Camp Program Dates
    • 15 hours of follow up in the following fall semester.
