- Must be able to inspect all incoming lots of material/parts per the inspection plan to verify compliance.
- The candidate must be able to use all basic inspection tools, such as Calipers, Height gauges, Gage Pins, Radius gauges, Gage Blocks, andMicrometers.
- Able to use/operate the optical comparator.
- Read and interpret all Blueprint drawings.
- Able to perform testing on the foam received.
- Use computer and related interfaces as required.
- Maintain reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual and dependable, to meet the needs of the department and the organization.
- Execute each essential duty satisfactorily to perform the job successfully.
- Follows all safety procedures required in the work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions.
- Performs effectively as a team member, works well with others, is open to receiving and giving feedback, and treats everyone with respect.
- Takes ownership of work and behavior, accepts accountability for actions, encourages solutions, and communicates thestatus of work and projects.
- Follow all department quality standards/criteria. Raise concerns and issues to the immediate manager.

- Understands the department's key performance indicators and contributes to achieving these goals both individually and as a team.

- Must be able to work any shift as needed
- Must be able to remain flexible and open to possible schedule changes to meet business needs.
- The individual must be able to note and recognize non-conformances, demonstrate the ability to perform inspections and maintain QA records.
- Ability to concentrate in a busy environment and stay on task.
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED certificate
- 3+ years prior experience; plastics experience preferred.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Working around equipment and machinery
- Exposure to dust, gas, fumes or chemicals
- Safety glasses
- Utility gloves/cutting gloves
- Leather top/slip-resistant shoes
- Hardhat
- Hearing protection (e.g., ear plugs, earmuffs)
- Face shields
- Face covering (mask) in accordance with company policy.
