    Job Summary

    The Administrative Support Specialist will provide administrative support to the division's contracting activity.

    Essential Functions

    • Obtain program office approval of potential submissions for future years prior to submission in APFS
    • Submission of APFS records for all new requirements as soon as they are identified
    • Amend APFS records, as needed, to ensure they reflect the accurate plans for each PR
    • Update records in APFS for PRs that are cancelled
    • Ensure correct APFS number is included in PR documentation/package
    • Reconciling APFS records to ensure the population is current and accurate
    • Notify CORs of newly received suitability documentation
    • Maintain tracking sheet for contractor suitability status
    • Update tracking sheet with information from the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and notify CORs when contractors have received Entry on Duty (EOD)
    • Research status of contractors in the suitability process
    • Provide CORs active contractor listings from ISMS and assisting with cleanup, when required
    • Other duties as assigned

    Job Specifications

    Education: Minimum of Master's and 10 years' relevant experience OR 15 years of relevant experience, in lieu of degree

    Experience:

    • Strong critical thinking skills, organizational skills and computer skills to perform required tasks
    • Prior experience using the PRISM contract writing system, FFMS, MS Excel, MS Access, TEAMS, and SharePoint

    **Must be able to secure DHS Suitability Clearance**
