- Provides professional nursing care for patients.
- Associates or Bachelor's Nursing degree.
- Basic Life Support required within six months of employment.
- Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every three years thereafter.
- Additional requirements to be obtained within six months of employment per department are as follows:
- Med/Surg - Advanced Life Support
- Special Care Unit - Advanced Life Support
- Emergency Room - Advanced Life Support, PALS, NRP, TNCC
- Resource Nurse - Advanced Life Support, PALS, NRP, plus 1-2 years M/S nursing experience.
- Previous experience in a health care setting preferred.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the state of Iowa, or Multi-state licensure required.
- 12-hour shifts with every third weekend and every other holiday rotations.
- 72 hours every 2 weeks.
- May be required to rotate day and night shifts.
- Weekend Package
- Part Time: a minimum of 17 weekends per six month schedule.
- Full Time: a minimum of 23 weekends per six month schedule.
- Required to work a holiday that falls on scheduled weekend rotation only.
- $ $46.50 per hour
