    Job Description and Duties

    *Limited term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent

    Under the general direction of the Correctional Plant Supervisor, or the Correctional Plant Manager II (CPM II); the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) in Plant Operations is the journey-level lead analytical staff responsible for information quality control, analysis, and assessment of all associated risks of the institution's Standard Automated Preventive Maintenance System (SAPMS). The SAPMS is designed to effectively direct maintenance workers in their job assignments and is CDCR's management tool for making informed decisions and to calculate appropriate budget allocations for necessary maintenance resources.

    Under the direct supervision of the Correctional Plant Supervisor, or the Correctional Plant Manager II (CPM II); the Staff Services Analyst (SSA) in Plant Operations is the entry to first journey level analytical staff responsible for information quality control, analysis, and assessment of all associated risks of the institution's Standard Automated Preventive Maintenance System (SAPMS). The SAPMS is designed to effectively direct maintenance workers in their job assignments and is the CDCR's management tool for making informed decisions and to calculate appropriate budget allocations for necessary maintenance resources.

    **Candidates new to CDCR or the Division of Juvenile Justice are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.

    Pursuant to the Public Health Orders ( and ) issued by the California Department of Public Health and the directive issued by the Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation (CDCR), all staff assigned to this post/position may be required to show evidence of full vaccination and booster for COVID-19, absent an approved reasonable medical or religious accommodation precluding them from vaccination.
