- Coordinate the annual operations plan and budget
- Lead the performance management process that measures and evaluates progress against goals for the organization
- Provide for all staff a strong day-to-day leadership presence and support an open-door policy among all staff
- Coordinate regular check ins with managers of Client Services, Nutrition Services, Kitchen Program, and Executive Director to maintain deep knowledge of current challenges and successes
- Review of facility contracts in consultation with Executive Director.
- Ensure staff has what they need to fulfill the obligations of their job description within budget
- Ensure maintenance of facilities including coordination of landscaping, janitorial, and quarterly deep cleaning of kitchen
- Oversee SOPs for facilities and equipment with support from Department Heads
- Create and update Emergency Plans
- Engage in a monthly kitchen audit to observe directly quality control measures during each meal production shift.
- Engage in a monthly meal distribution audit to observe current processes.
- Engage in monthly meal audit of delivery reports to ensure timely delivery of meals for all clients.
- Cultivate the values of Teen Kitchen Project within the organization
- Instill a coaching culture within Teen Kitchen Project; upgrade human resources functions including training, development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance evaluation and recruiting
- In partnership with the Executive Director and Bookkeeper, interpret accounting reports, providing the organization with quick access to financial information enabling strategic budgeting
- Development and implementation of systems for reporting, measurement and supporting local revenue generation
- Oversee all technology including computers, phones, security, and software. Work with IT as needed to troubleshoot.
- Develop system for technology and security management
- Facilitate biweekly payroll
- Annual review and updates of Employee Handbook and benefits package

- Experience managing staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication. Able to communicate simply and effectively
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Very comfortable with technology
- Proficient in Office 365 apps
- Self-directed; comfortable working in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Valid California drivers license and excellent driving record
