    Job Description:

    As Director of Construction, our client is ideally looking for a 20-year veteran who will be responsible for oversight of the Dallas operations, playing a pivotal role in driving our clients mission to deliver high-quality construction projects that exceed industry expectations. You will oversee and manage all construction operations across the region, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and with the utmost quality.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide strategic leadership to the construction team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
    • Markets of focus: commercial, institutional, higher education and mission-critical.
    • Responsible for running a $200m business group, with typical projects valued at $100m+.
    • Develop and execute project plans, budgets, and schedules.
    • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
    • Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful project completion.
    • Manage and mentor a team of construction professionals.
    • Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for business growth.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, but not essential.
    • Proven track record of successful project delivery running large projects in Dallas.
    • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
    • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
    • Proficiency in project management software.
    • Will have a wide network of contacts in the region, including with owners and subcontractors.
