    Description

    Are you still currently in the job market for a full time role? We are hiring CT Tech for a healthcare organizations in Washington DC.


    Job Information:
    Prepares patients for scan. Reviews patient records for orders, exam history, lab work, and allergies, and positions patients on the scan table. Establishes I.V. site for contrast infusion and administers oral, rectal and I.V. contrasts. Consults with Radiologist prior to administering I.V. contrast for bolus I.V. injections. Monitors patients during injection for evidence of contrast reaction.

    Enters patient and exam data into x-ray computer system and performs computed scan images.

    Prepares reports and maintains records of service rendered, using the radiology department computer system to verify billing and quality assurance.

    Completes incident reports and anesthesia records when necessary. Reports all technical problems to the supervisor or senior technologist.

    Assists in the training and orientation of new employees and students.

    Completes all required information system functions to assure proper patient information, billing, exam, and other necessary functions are correctly entered and maintained.

    Schedule: 3 /12 Hour Shifts - 7:00am - 7:30pm (Rotating Saturdays)

    Open to both full time and part time canidates


    Qualifications:
    Completed competency-based training in CT.

    1-2 years job related experience.

    ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) registration.

    BLS (Basic Life Support).
