Valytics LLC is actively seeking a Junior Engineer to perform Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of the Business Master File software under the Enterprise Development Operations Services contract for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Duties will include reviewing software documentation, software requirements documentation, and requirements change documentation. This candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software systems and applications. The Junior IV&V Engineer will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, conducting thorough validation and verification activities, and providing valuable insights to stakeholders regarding the overall quality of the software product.

Requirements and Key Responsibilities:

• Active MBI Treasury Public Trust Clearance preferred or candidate must be eligible to obtain a Government security clearance.
• Candidates MUST be a US Citizen.
• Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Provide Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) services across all project layers – from concept to requirements, to design and implementation, to operations and maintenance.
• Evaluation of system documentation (e.g., Requirements, Design, Test, Deployment, and Management Plans) for accuracy and completeness.
• Follow up with developers for defects resolution and regression tests.
• Execute compare tools to identify differences between output data.
• Experience using robust automated testing tools and practices.
• Ability to review and analyze source code.
• Experience performing requirements traceability activities.
• Knowledge of Automated Test-Driven Development tools like Selenium, RFT, etc.
• Excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines and fulfill task assignments while proactively striving to achieve team objectives.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
