    CreditAssociates, a successful and rapidly growing consumer financial services company located in Plano, Texas, seeks a Senior AWS Developer to work on the next generation of our core technology. This primarily includes AWS, AWS CDK, Python, and backend SQL such as with Aurora database. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services, extensive experience in software development, and a proven track record of leading and managing technical teams. As a Senior AWS Developer, you will be critical in architecting, designing, and implementing scalable and reliable solutions on the AWS platform. Additionally, you will guide and mentor other developers, provide technical leadership, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.     Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with other teams to seamlessly integrate AWS solutions and align them with business objectives.
    • Lead and manage a team of AWS developers to ensure successful delivery of cloud-based solutions and projects.
    • Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to other developers/team members, conducting code reviews, and mentoring team members.
    • Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve complex issues in AWS environments.
    • Participate in all team activities like sprint planning, sprint ceremonies, code reviews, estimations, and troubleshooting
    • Write clean, reusable code and ensure adherence to coding standards.
    • Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
    • Build and maintain services on AWS from scratch using Python and AWS CDK
    • Ensure availability, performance, and scalability of applications by applying architectural best practices
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline
    • 8+ years of professional work experience in a developer role with leadership experience
    • 3+ years of experience with AWS, Serverless, IAM, S3, Aurora, SQS, SNS, Fargate, Lambda, Glue, CloudWatch, AWS CDK
    • Prior experience in effectively managing and leading development teams, utilizing strong leadership skills, and fostering a collaborative work environment
    • Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of developers providing technical guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
    • AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are a plus
    • Expertise in Python or other object-oriented scripted languages
    • Knowledge of Angular/AngularJS and JavaScript is a plus.
    • Excellent understanding of cloud architecture principles, including scalability, reliability, and security.
    • Experience with relational databases and SQL (Aurora/Athena/MySQL) and CI/CD tools
