Job Description

As a Security Officer - Data Center Patrol Driver in Waipahu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Learn more: Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate storage property, where you will make routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and assist tenants and visitors with professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will document observations, communicate clearly with your team, and bring Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the commercial property, including drive lanes, common areas, and perimeter lines, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns.

Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit to storage and parking areas, including checking identification and/or authorization when required by post orders.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting management and/or public emergency services as needed and assisting with de-escalation.

Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts, and support property rules such as parking, loitering, and after-hours access.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

A guard card/license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
