Job DescriptionDUTIES:
o Calibrate, align, troubleshoot, and test ball grid array (BGA) installation and removal machines prior to shipment.
o Assist in creating and maintaining production cell work instructions.
o Participate in the assembly of PACE products as needed.
o Help manage software and driver revisions.
o Collaborate with Engineering and production-cell to identify and address issues.
o Assist with product transition from engineering development to production.
o Work from approved drawings and specifications to inspect components for quality assurance (QA).
o Periodically checks the accuracy and calibration of instruments used by PACE's QA program.
o Provide service and warranty support to PACE's customers and sales channels.
o Undertakes such additional responsibilities as directed or required including assisting on the equipment production line
QUALIFICATIONS:
o Strong electronic, mechanical, and assembly skills including the ability to build a circuit assembly from a schematic diagram.
o Familiar with Windows PCs and Microsoft Office. Need to be able to install applications and device drivers.
o Must possess basic math skills including algebra and geometry and to be able to graph and interpret data.
o Ability to read engineering drawings and understand specifications.
o Strong written and oral communications skills.
o Experience with multi-meters, oscilloscopes, calipers, micrometers, height gages, surface gages and other metrology instruments.
o Experience using ERP/MRP system is a plus.
