    Overview:

    As a Locum OB Hospitalist, you will provide essential obstetric and gynecologic care, ensuring the safety and well-being of new mothers and their babies during weekend shifts.

    This role is perfect for physicians seeking flexible, rewarding work and the chance to collaborate with a dedicated team committed to excellence in maternal health.


    Required Skills:
    Valid medical license in Texas Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care and management of labor and delivery Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work independently and handle urgent obstetric situations efficiently Nice to

    Have Skills:
    Experience with expedited hospital privileges Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Previous locum tenens or hospitalist experience Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish, are a plus Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics Prior experience working as a hospitalist or in a similar inpatient OB role

    Other Requirements:

    Willingness to work weekend shifts Possession of ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications Ability to obtain hospital privileges, with expedited privileges available for providers with clean files Must comply with all licensing, certification, travel, and other applicable reimbursements This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career while working in a supportive, professional environment.
