    Description: As a HR Business Partner for a manufacturing facility, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing HR operations for approximately 100 employees.

    This dynamic role focuses on employee relations, talent management and organizational development/effectiveness, while also handling aspects of compensation, benefits, HRIS/payroll reporting and talent acquisition.

    You will develop and leverage relationships with stakeholders across the organization to drive HR initiatives aligned with business needs, enhancing the HR team's effectiveness.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Employee Relations:
    Manage plant employee relations including relationship building, employee advocacy, policy compliance, and disciplinary actions. Address employee concerns, solicit feedback, and drive engagement to shape organizational culture.


    • HR Programs &

    Business Objectives:

    Partner with leadership to deliver HR programs, policies, and practices in support of business objectives, assessing and recommending improvements.



    Compensation & Benefits Administration:
    Assist with compensation programs and benefits administration including salary, bonuses, health and welfare benefits, vendor management, and reporting.


    Talent Management:
    Oversee the full cycle of talent management activities, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, training, development, and succession planning.


    Strategic Workforce Planning:
    Partner with management to ensure strategic workforce planning aligns with business goals and growth strategies.


    HRIS/Payroll Reporting:
    Manage HRIS/payroll reporting, ensuring accurate employee data and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.


    Mentorship & Development:
    Develop, coach, and mentor colleagues at all organizational levels, providing support for decision-making.


    • Risk Management &

    Policy Administration:
    Mitigate risk and enhance culture through effective management of employee relations and policy administration.


    Project Leadership:
    Lead and participate in various projects, including cross-functional and corporate/global HR initiatives.


    Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a business-related discipline (advanced degree or HRCI/SHRM certification preferred).
    • Minimum of 8 years experience in an HR generalist role or multiple HR disciplines.
    • At least 5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
    • Experience in multi-site operations preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and intermediate to advanced proficiency with HRIS/data management tools.

    Technical/Functional Skills:

    • In-depth knowledge of HR fundamentals, best practices, and legal compliance.
    • Strong business judgment and organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Experience advising and influencing employees and stakeholders at all levels.
    • Exposure to process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) preferred.
