    Headlands Addiction Treatment Services is an industry leader in providing addiction and psychiatric services to treatment centers. Our mission is to improve the standards of patient care that exist in residential and outpatient addiction and mental health treatment programs. Our group is comprised of dedicated healthcare professionals who are passionate about delivering evidenced based patient care, education, and organizational improvements to a historically underserved patient population.

    Headlands is seeking a PART-TIME PHYSICIAN (Addiction Medicine or Psychiatry) to assist with evaluations at our contracted programs in California.

    The position involves the following:

    • REMOTE ADDICTION EVALUATIONS at RESIDENTIAL and OUTPATIENT TREATMENT FACILITIES
    • 20 hours weekly
    • 5 hour blocks (10AM - 3PM PST daily)
    • CALIFORNIA LICENSE REQUIRED
    • Malpractice w/ Tail Coverage provided by Company
    • Potential to develop into a full time position for the right individual

    The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

    • Non-psychiatrists who have extensive experience in addiction medicine and the treatment of mental health conditions will be considered. ABAM or ABPM certification is a plus.
    • Psychiatrists with current board certification or board eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) who have significant experience in the treatment of Substance Use Disorders

    The position will involve the following:

    • Remote patient assessments patient care, withdrawal management, routine patient follow-up related to addiction focused care

    Candidate must have:

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and bedside manner
    • Strong motivation and work ethic
