    Duties


    • You will use a full range of functions, including advanced processes of one or more work processing software applications to produce a wide variety of documents needed.
    • You will type, edit, format and print a wide variety of documents for the office staff, including correspondence, technical reports, organizational proposals and justifications, technical notes and similar material in accordance with guidelines.
    • You will determine appropriate form, arrangement and spacing for documents based on the nature of the subject matter being typed and its intended use.
    • You will resolve problems involving the interpretation of drafts by contacting the originator or by relying on previous experience.
    • You will consolidate information for various reports in accordance with established procedures and deadlines.
    • You will maintain documents in electronic files for easy retrieval and make backup copies of stored data as appropriate.
    • You will receive phone calls and visitors and answer routine inquiries or refer to staff members.
    • You will review incoming correspondence and determine the action required and its priority.
    • You will maintain and order office supplies
