    About the job

    We are seeking an experienced Audit Partner to lead our commercial audit practice. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing audits for a diverse range of commercial entities, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service and driving firm growth. Responsibilities will include:

    Leadership and Participation:
    • Incorporate firm's strategic plan into practice's plan, budgets, and campaigns.
    • Foster firm's cultural goals of creativity, inclusion, transparency, and accountability.
    • Participate in partner meetings to shape firm's vision and direction.
    • Set an example through participation in professional and community activities.
    Revenue Generation and Marketing:
    • Design market-oriented campaigns to expand client base.
    • Expand relationship networks to enhance firm's market presence.
    • Utilize existing client base and network for cross-selling services.
    • Identify key conferences to attend for networking and service promotion.
    • Develop new business and expand existing client work.
    Competency, Delivery, and Communication:
    • Price services competitively while meeting profitability targets.
    • Execute engagement letters and assurance reports.
    • Develop policies and procedures for effective practice administration.
    • Plan, execute, and review Assurance engagements.
    • Lead staff training and capability development.
    • Maintain expertise in commercial practices.
    • Provide assistance in assurance issue research.
    • Establish external sources of expertise for client services.
    • Ensure client satisfaction and incorporate necessary changes.
    • Keep firm personnel informed of assurance area developments.
    • Establish client communication channels for service benefits.
    Administration:
    • Determine staffing levels for Assurance department.
    • Forecast manpower requirements and recruit staff.
    • Manage compensation levels and performance evaluation.
    • Exercise financial controls including budget management.
    • Monitor work-in-process and receivables.
    General:
    • Assist Partners in achieving effective operations of the Assurance department.
    • Mentor and aid in professional development of practice managers.
    • Opportunity for partnership interest acquisition.

    Qualifications

    What you will need
    • 12-15+ years of Audit experience in public accounting
    • 8-10+ years of Audit Management experience
    • Expertise in private sector and SEC audits
    • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Accounting required
    • CPA license required
