Job DetailsJob LocationVeterans FordVeterans Ford of Tampa is hiring Full-Time Detailers IMMEDIATE OPENINGSDESCRIPTION:
The Vehicle Detailer prepares new and pre-owned vehicles for sale and delivery by washing, vacuuming, and restoring interior, exterior, and under-hood cosmetics.
In addition to base-level conditioning, the Detailer informally inspect vehicles for defective parts and replaces minor parts and accessories, tightens or adjusts loose parts, and provides minute touch-up when directed to do so.
The ideal candidate has some detailing experience.We are looking for candidates with a general mechanical aptitude, a clean driving record, and can drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles.
Candidates must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world class customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Washes and conditions vehicle exterior, including tires, wheels, under-carriage, and under-hood components and waxing/buffingCleans and conditions vehicle interior, including vacuuming, shampooing, applying fabric/leather treatments, and polishingInspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operationEnsures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly storedHelps maintain shop appearance and safety standards and ensures the shop runs in an efficient manner by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functionsFollows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rulesPerforms other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
1 year of Detailer Experience, PreferredHigh school diploma or GED preferredAble to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehiclesNeat, clean, and professional appearanceExcellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stressAble to work independently with minimal supervisionHighly professional and dependableSafety and customer service orientedAble to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as neededMust have a valid driver's license
