    Venesco, LLC has an upcoming need to hire multiple Medical Assistants to provide services at local military facilities. Medical Assistants will provide care to military service members and their dependents. This is a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those who serve our country

    Hours: These positions are in outpatient clinics working Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. Exact hours will depend on the clinic placed in, and can be discussed in the interview process.

    Tricare Prime Clinic Suffolk

    Requirements:
    • Degree: Possess a high school diploma or GED certificate.
    • Education: Be a graduate from a medical assistant training program accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), OR the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) of the American Medical Technologists, OR a formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces, OR other formal program approved by the MTF.
    • Certifications: Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (may be obtained in the hiring process)
    • Experience: All Medical Assistants: Possess a minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant within the last 3 years. Medical Assistants (Lab) ONLY: Possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience within the last three (3) years performing venipunctures and finger-stick on patients from pediatric to geriatric.
    • Additional Requirements: Must be able to provide two (2) letters of recommendation written within the last two (2) years attesting to the HCW's clinical skills. At least one (1) letter must be from a physician or supervisor who has personally observed and evaluated the HCW and who can attest to the HCW's clinical skills in the care of patients. The other letter may be from a clinic or hospital administrator, physician or nurse who has personal knowledge of the HCW's patient care skills in a similar clinical environment. Reference letters shall attest to the HCW's communication skills and ability to relate to patients as well as professional and other interpersonal skills among staff members and must include name, title, phone number, date of reference, address and signature of the individual providing reference.
