- Promotes JACK Club programs and JACK Club registration and membership. Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting.
- Cash and sell bet tickets to the public.
- Provide good public relations in the form of friendly, courteous, responsive, and accurate assistance during all customer service transactions.
- Provide educational assistance to new patrons.
- Ensures compliance with the federal currency transaction reporting requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Promotes outstanding customer relations.
- Ensures compliance with Ohio Racing Commission regulations and other gaming regulations as required.
- Ensures adherence to departmental/company policies and procedures. Implements the departmental internal controls and security.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (4 hours).
- Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; and, have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel.
- Respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises and bright lights.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to simultaneously manage several projects, and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives.
- Ability to speak distinctly and persuasively.
- Very strong customer relations skills.
- Solid understanding of the pari-mutuel customer's motivations and expectations.
- Previous pari-mutuel mutual clerk experience preferred.
- Is fluent on Microsoft Office software products, and is viewed as an outstanding team player
- Is able to work in smoke filled environment, and is able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to obtain an Ohio Racing Commission license

Reporting to the Mutuel Manager, Mutuel Clerks/Teller to provide customer services to external and internal guest.
Essential Functions
