Job Description

As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol Driver in Lima, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with clear communication and customer service.

This is a driving post and requires a valid drivers license per AU Driver Policy Requirements.

What You'll Do

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, tank farms, warehouses, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity, noting hazards and unusual conditions for reporting.

Monitor access points and vehicle entry lanes, verify identification and/or authorization, and direct deliveries, contractors, and visitors according to site procedures.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, assisting with area control, and documenting actions taken.

Complete shift logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations and/or concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
