    About the role
    As a Full Stack Engineer, you will design and build new, first-of-type products and features that use AI to improve the lives of children and families. Youll have full ownership, taking ideas from the napkin to general availability in app stores. Youll work on all technical aspects of what you build, covering web, mobile, UI, Back End, Cloud, APIs, and 3rd party integrations.

    A problem you will constantly solve in everything that you build will be balancing the need for beautifully simple and intuitive interfaces that enable our users to get the most out of our products with the complex data requirements of our AI/ML models.
    Our Tech Stack - JavaScript, Angular, React, Ionic, , GCP
    Salary range - $130,000 - $170,000 dependent on experience. Equity, Unlimited PTO, and other benefits are provided on top of salary.

    Areas of Responsibility

    • Communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and deliver life-changing products
    • Web, Android, and iOS hybrid application design, development, testing, and deployment
    • Cloud infrastructure design, development, and management
    • Backend design and development including data structures and management
    • Running sprint planning and execution
    • Overseeing engineers during project execution

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer
    • JavaScript - Track record writing high-quality code including API calls, closures, debounce, and throttle and lexical scope
    • - Proven experience writing asynchronous code
    • Cloud (AWS, GCP or Azure) - Experience with availability, security, performance, and integrations
    • Experience designing and building new user-facing applications, products, or features
    • Experience designing and building products that scale
    • Proven track record ingesting and understanding user feedback to build new or iterative products that go beyond expectations
    • Track record of identifying multiple solutions to problems and using sound technical judgment and trade-offs to build great products
    • Proven track record in collaborating with technical and non-technical teams to successfully release products, applications, or features
    • Able to intake, understand and respond to user requirements
    • Able to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences at all levels of an organization to create understanding and alignment.
