- 3+ years of experience with application development in Java or C#
- Experience with Java technologies, including J2EE, Swing, and XML
- Experience with Protobuf or JSON and REST, SOAP APIs
- Experience with designing and implementing unit and functional tests
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience implementing microservices and containerized development including Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience with Data Distribution Service (DDS), RabbitMQ, Kafka or other middleware message bus technologies
- Knowledge of common military data formats, MIL-STD-6016 (Link16), MIL-STD-6017 (VMF), and UCI
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Experience working with Jira
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with a remote team

The Opportunity:
Research, design, develop, and modify enterprise-wide systems or applications software from tactical edge to cloud. Work as a member of a system development team and become involved in application development, system development, unit testing, and deployment tasks. Maintain responsibility for meeting software compliance standards. Evaluate the interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of the overall system. Document the testing and maintenance of system corrections. Develop solutions to routine technical problems.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
