    Community Engagement Director at The Pearl at Dallas

    Description:

    The Pearl at Dallas is looking to add a passionate Community Engagement Director to their team

    The Community Engagement Director will be reporting to the Executive Director

    PURPOSE

    Sales & Marketing | Community Relations

    The role involves hands-on sales activities such as generating new leads, converting leads to move-ins, implementing effective sales systems, and nurturing key business relationships for referrals

    PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Sales & Marketing | Community Relations

    Accounting

    • Codes and processes community sales department invoices, oversees department budget, and understands its impact on the community's financials

    Analysis/Reporting

    • Provides detailed weekly and monthly reports on sales and marketing productivity, industry trends analysis, and CRM database management
    • Conducts market research, identifies competitive opportunities/threats, and suggests strategies to the management team

    Communication

    • Represents the company professionally and positively in all interactions
    • Conducts regular meetings with the sales team to review performance and address key marketing issues
    • Assists in the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures

    Sales

    • Educates the community about Phoenix's unique senior living services
    • Identifies marketing opportunities and collaborates with the corporate Marketing Support team
    • Ensures high levels of customer service and leads generation
    • Works towards achieving and exceeding sales targets
    • Conducts tours, closes sales, and implements resident referral programs

    Requirements:

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE-CERTIFICATION

    Sales & Marketing | Community Relations

    • College degree preferred, with 3-5 years of experience in sales and marketing, specifically in senior housing
    • Experience working with the elderly or disabled is a plus

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    Sales & Marketing | Community Relations

    • Proficient in Windows, PowerPoint, and Excel
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
    • Demonstrates innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills
    • Able to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple responsibilities effectively

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Standing/walking for 4-6 hours in an 8-hour workday
    • Sitting for 2-4 hours in an 8-hour workday
    • Driving 60-120 minutes 3-4 times a week
    • Lifting up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 150 lbs occasionally
    • Simple grasping, pushing, fine manipulation, occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, and reaching
