- Execute surface plasmon resonance (SPR) analysis for small molecules binding to protein and/or protein-protein interactions.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to ensure project team goals and deliverables are met.
- Communicate effectively and present results in cross-functional team meetings
- Trouble shoot and solve scientific problems with minimal supervision.
- Be highly organized and have an ability to support several projects at the time.
- Independently operate and maintain specialized SPR lab equipment.
- B.S., M.S. or Ph. D. in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry or related discipline
- +2 years of relevant experience in an industrial or academic lab.
- Prior experience with biophysical assay methods (especially SPR, and others such as ITC, DSF and MST).

Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated Associate Scientist to join our small molecule structural biology and biophysics efforts within our department of Biotherapeutic and Medicinal Sciences as a contract role for 6 months. The successful candidate will be a part of a fast-paced and innovative environment actively pursuing unmet medical needs in the neuroscience space. The primary focus of this role is to execute a variety of biophysical assays to help accelerate our drug discovery efforts from exploratory through lead identification and optimization.
