    Surgical Technologist

    At LifeBridge Health, we are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in the Operating Room. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who want to make a difference in patient care.

    About the Role

    We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual who can provide technical assistance to surgeons during surgical interventions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. When not directly assisting the surgeon, you will participate in rendering patient care under the direction of the Surgical Assistant Coordinator or a Registered Nurse.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare operating rooms and equipment for procedures;
    • Assist surgeons during surgeries, including handing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment;
    • Participate in pre- and post-operative patient care, as directed by RNs or SASCs;
    • Maintain accurate records of patient information and procedure details;

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • Basic employment skills, including communication and teamwork;
    • A High School diploma or GED equivalent;
    • 1-3 years experience in a healthcare setting;
    • Surgical equipment and instrument knowledge;
    • Hospital computer systems understanding;
    • Accredited Surgical Technology Course Certificate;
    • Surgical Technologist Certification preferred.

    Compensation and Benefits
