- Strong and established team with two assistants, including one expanded function, and two hygienists
- Responsible for performing regular dental exams, teeth cleaning, fillings, and extractions
- Three exam rooms
- 4-day work week
- Monday- Thursday
- No evenings, no weekends
- 15-17 patients a day
- PRN position (August -November)
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) or Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from accredited dental school
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Indiana
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Excellent eye for detail
- Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and healthcare
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients from all different backgrounds, with empathy and compassion

At IHC, a Federally Qualified Health Center, we specialize in integrated care, which means accessing essential services to meet the needs of the patients we serve in the community. With ten healthcare centers and eight Women, Infants, and Children nutrition program locations throughout Indiana, we offer primary medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare services to community-based patient populations that are diverse in age, educational background, and income level.
IHC in South Bend, Indiana (Western Avenue) is seeking a General Dentist (D.D.S./ D.M.D) who is passionate about providing healthcare services to the area's underserved population. You must be comfortable treating patients of all ages and performing all aspects of General Dentistry. This is a PRN position from August - November.
