    Description

    Are you a skilled professional with a knack for procurement and a passion for optimizing operational efficiency? Our client is looking for an MRO Buyer to join their team and play a pivotal role in our daily and weekly purchasing activities. Youll be at the forefront of ensuring their production has the materials it needs while driving cost savings initiatives. Your responsibilities will include analyzing requirements, negotiating prices, and maintaining purchase orders with precision. Additionally, youll collaborate closely with suppliers, monitor shipments, and implement corrective actions when necessary. If you have 2-3 years of buying experience in a manufacturing environment, wed love to hear from you.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyze production requirements and schedule material purchases accordingly
    • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms
    • Recommend and implement cost-saving strategies
    • Maintain accurate purchase orders and match them with invoices
    • Assist in inventory control activities
    • Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods
    • Monitor and manage exchange rates for international transactions
    • Prepare and distribute purchase orders to suppliers and relevant departments
    • Proactively order additional materials as needed
    • Liaise with suppliers to expedite deliveries and resolve any issues
    • Maintain organized files, reports, and price lists for reference
    • Evaluate suppliers based on various criteria such as price, quality, and reliability
    • Monitor market conditions and merchandise costs to inform purchasing decisions
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address any issues with goods or services
    • Keep detailed records of purchases, costs, and inventory levels
    • Review purchase order claims and contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and standards
