Job Summary

The VP of Transload Business Development leads strategic planning and execution for all rail transload programs on OmniTRAX managed railroads including acquisition development and expansion strategies Manages transload team of professionals to deliver exceptional service and growth in collaboration with Commercial Corporate Development Finance and Operations teams Ensures safe development and execution of transload locations leads cross-functional teams to implement and manage transload projects understands regional business demands and competition provides customer advocacy and delivers profitable business growth to achieve the companys financial safety operating metrics goals The VP of Transload Business Development demonstrates adheres to the company values of safety honesty ownership respect teamwork ensure successful partnerships customers employees result OmniTRAX continued success

Responsibilities

  • Develop execute corporate transland strategy include new terminals expanding terminals partnerships third party operators Ensure opportunity pipelines remain robust eye increase number size land operations across portfolio railroads Develop safe profitable land operations contribute overall success OmniTRAX managed railroads Evaluate organizations performance strengths weaknesses competitive landscape identify new growth opportunities Estimate business impact strategic initiatives prepares reports recommendations executive leadership teams Work directly current new prospective customers creating solutions drive growth OmniTX properties Establish budget targets top down bottom-up budget strategy review approval Deliver reliable accurate timely forecasts OmniTX executive team sales operations targets met Empower support employees achieve safety productivity profitability targets Contribute development implementation marketing sales strategies understanding competitive economic conditions customer intelligence operational expertise Build successful customer relationships deliver profitable volume revenue longevity Maintain solid understanding competitive environment trucking maritime intermodal other railroad capitalize opportunities
