    Job Description:

    Skills Required:
    Lead and support controls and automation, Implementation of projects from the prototype to production phase. 1. Support Company Growth

    • Support implementation of proven and newly developed advanced automation
    • Lead controls designs (Controls requirements, Automation, Integration with MES system)
    • Support production to reduce downtime with increased quality
    • Develop predictive maintenance indicators to increase reliability and reduce downtime – (CBM)
    • Develop MFMEA (Machinery Failure Mode Effects Analysis) with defined contingency plan and disaster recovery
    • Robust programming to increase equipment uptime without continuous intervention.
    • Develop and implement error proofs to improve quality
    Skills Preferred:2. Drive Company Standards

    • Drive corporate AME control standards implement and communicate suggested improvements
    • Document and use existing control standards to develop requirements for automated cells
    • Runoff equipment prior to shipment
    • Support install, launch and production
    • Support PFMEA plant team as controls SME 3. Automation Safety
    • Understand and communicate applicable safety standards: general industry (OSHA 1910), machine guarding, robot safety (ANSI/RIA 15.06), automated vehicles, conveyor safety
    • Completion of Risk Assessments on all automated equipment
    Experience Required:4. Requirements

    • Knowledgeable in MS-Office
    • Expert in (RS logix 500, RS logix 5000, Factory Talk HMI, Baluff I/O link, and Fanuc robot, programming).
    • Auto CAD
    • Ability to read and create electrical drawings
    • Ability to create 2D cell layout in AutoCAD
    • Coordinate and manage controls systems
    • Communication with external manufacturing system /MES
    • Tools Talk programming and interface with torque tools
    • Experience with controls and programming servo driven equipment
    Experience Preferred:5. Team Development

    • Mentor and Train plant controls engineers and support production.
    • Communicate across cross functional groups
    • Support Kaizen, Improvement walks, and Error proofing projects
