M.B.A. or M.S. in information security
Certifications:
CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC, etc.
10 years of IT experience, with 5 years in an information security role and at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
Experience with common information security management frameworks, such as National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Center for Internet Security Critical Security Controls (CIS), Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT)
Project management skills:
financial/budget management, scheduling, and resource management.
