Job DescriptionPeoplelink Staffing has partnered with a PREMIER employer in Central Indiana. Our client, services the eCommerce industry – providing fast, safe, sustainable fulfillment and delivery. We are currently hiring 1st and 2nd shift Forklift Operators for our Whitestown, IN fulfillment center.
Forklift Operator Job Summary:

• 1st shift 7am-330pm
• 2nd shift 3pm-330pm-midnight
• $18.00/to start
• Temp to hire (increase to $20/hr upon hire in)

Forklift Operator Duties:

• Perform all duties in a safe manner, follow all safety rules and comply with any additional communication relating to safety practices and procedures
• Palletize and organize approved packages with regards to safe handling practices
• Ensure that the workstations are fully stocked with products and ready to go
• Inventory materials and record weight, count and condition of product via an RF Scanning system
• Follow forklift safety regulations relating to OSHA or other company related regulations
• Understand and comply with all GMPs
• Operate all material handling equipment in a safe manner (forklift, stand up forklift, pallet jack)

Forklift Operator Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse experience required
• Previous forklift experience required – sit down and stand up
• Must have ability to stand, bend, and walk throughout the day
• Must be willing to work in a refrigerated environment – at or below 40 degrees
• Familiar and comfortable using a RF scanner
• Basic math skills
• Understanding of inventory principles
• English communication and comprehension
