Maintenance Technician

Description

Maintain, install, service, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing systems, equipment & components for the casino complex.

Duties

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial grade HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical components, systems, & equipment.
• Follow blueprints & diagrams to install HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical components, systems, & equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance & inspections on HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical components, systems, & equipment.
• Perform minor carpentry repairs to building structures & finishes.
• Use and maintain tools & equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations & industry standards.
• Review, verify, & follow all applicable codes & regulations, manufacturer recommendations, and industry standards regarding equipment, systems, and work practices.
• Assist and coordinate with a variety of skilled trade personnel to complete job assignments.
• Use Company PCs to monitor HVAC automation network.
• Submit progress reports, job reports, and completed work orders issued by Department Management in a timely manner.
• Communicate and network effectively with staff, other departments, and outside representatives in order to maintain a productive and effective department operation.

Requirements

• Certificate of training or one (1) year work experience in relevant field.
• Valid Iowa Driver License preferred.
• Able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission.
• Strong diagnostic & problem solving abilities.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of blueprints and schematics with attention to details.
