- Inspecting intricate configurations using surface plate equipment
- Conducting all inspection phases - from receiving to final and initial article inspections
- Complying with AS9102 requirements for initiating, completing, and submitting initial article inspection reports
- Familiarity with aerospace OEM drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Determining product acceptance based on inspection outcomes
- Generating inspection reports, including nonconforming material reports
- Attaining AS13001 certification and customer DQR/ASRA approval
- Navigating efficiently through clients' portals for FAIR submissions and product release activities
- Engaging with customers’ quality representatives and suppliers to address quality concerns
- Acting as a departmental resource for identifying problems, trends, and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Experienced in layout inspection
- Familiar with FAI per AS9102 standards
- Well-versed in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Skilled in generating, compiling, reviewing, and submitting initial article inspection reports
- Eligible as a customer-approved self-release agent (DQR/ASRA)
- Proficient in online portals, electronic files, and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and production teams
- Capable of working efficiently without constant supervision
- Preferred: Experience with CMM and measurement system analysis, AS9100 audit experience
