    Description
    MGB RN Emergency Room - Salem, MA - 13 Weeks Contract

    Sigma Healthcare Team is currently looking for an Emergency Room RN to work at our client's facility in Salem, MA.

    Shift: 07:00 - 19:30

    Responsibilities:
    • Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

    • Implements and monitors patient care plans.

    • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.

    • Serves as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

    • Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.

    • Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the health care team.


    Qualifications:
    • 2 years of current experience in Emergency Room as an RN

    • Experience with Telemetry

    • Skill Sets Required: General ED nursing skills including but not limited to, assessment, documentation, critical thinking, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, Cardiac Monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, patient education.

    • Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (preferred).

    • TNCC strongly preferred.

    • Ability to build rapport with patients

    • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
