- Assess and monitor patients' cardiovascular conditions, including vital signs and telemetry data interpretation,
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and ensure patient safety by monitoring for potential side effects,
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients,
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, medications, and necessary lifestyle modifications,
- Document all patient care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record,
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times,
- Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and overall care quality,
- Current active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in New Jersey,
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support BLS for Healthcare Providers required
- Advanced Cardiac Life support ACLS for healthcare providers required,
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN required,
- 1 year of experience working in a telemetry acute care setting preferred,
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills,
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members,

RWJBH is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Post Coronary Care Unit at the New Brunswick campus,This is a part-time, night position 36 hours/week, Please note the hours of this position are 7:00 pm - 7:30 am with every other weekend
