    for a permanent, part-time position. This role offers consistent day shifts, advanced imaging technology, and a full benefits package within a collaborative clinical environment.

    Shift Details

    • 8-hour day shifts
    • Regular scheduled hours: approximately 24–32 hours per week
    • Alternating weekend rotation
    • No on-call requirements
    Compensation & Benefits

    • Salary range: $45,639.36 – $70,736.64 annually
    • Hourly rate: $36.57 – $56.68

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET procedures using radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols
    • Review consultation requests and verify special instructions with ordering physicians and radiologists
    • Greet patients professionally, confirm identification, and explain procedures to patients and families
    • Prepare, calibrate, document, and administer radiopharmaceuticals via injection, ingestion, and inhalation
    • Perform in vivo and in vitro nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures
    • Evaluate images for technical quality and appropriate anatomical positioning
    • Maintain accurate documentation and departmental exam results
    • Maintain daily activity logs and exam records
    • Ensure proper storage, ordering, and inventory management of nuclear medicine supplies
    • Monitor supply shortages and coordinate special-order items
    • Perform daily quality assurance testing and preventive safety inspections on equipment
    • Identify equipment or workflow issues and report concerns to leadership
    • Provide radiation protection to patients, staff, and self per safety standards
    • Operate radiation detection equipment effectively
    • Recognize emergency situations and initiate appropriate response, including CPR or first aid
    • Coordinate add-on exams when possible and collaborate with other departments to ensure access to care
    • Verify correct order entry and appropriate supply charging
    • Maintain patient confidentiality and professional communication standards
    • Seek continuing education opportunities and contribute to departmental improvement
    Requirements

    • ARRT-N or CNMT Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (Required)
    • BLS Certification (American Heart Association) (Required)
    • Associate's Degree in a related field (Required)
    • Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
    • PET and CT experience preferred
    • Completion of Point of Care Testing training during department orientation
    • Ability to lift patients up to 50 lbs
    • Strong knowledge of radiation safety standards
    • Experience with electronic health record systems
