AHMG Cardiology in Altamonte is also looking for a dynamic and energetic non-invasive cardiologist to join our team supporting AdventHealth Altamonte Springs. Cardiologists must be proficient in all forms of non-invasive cardiology. Responsibilities will include both inpatient and outpatient care, in addition to group call coverage which will be shared amongst the physicians in the practice. Outpatient clinic at either Lake Mary or Oviedo clinic locations.
Requirements for the position: Board Certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty board certification in Cardiovascular Disease. High caliber, quality focused, innovative physicians should apply. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
The AdventHealth Heart, Lung and Vascular Institute is one of the busiest centers of its kind in the nation. We are a leading provider of cardiovascular and thoracic services among Medicare patients with national rankings that include: #1 in Cardiology volume, #1 in Vascular Surgery volume, #5 in Thoracic Surgery volume and #8 in Open Heart Surgery volume. The AH HLVI is centered in a tertiary facility known as AdventHealth Orlando within the Ginsburg Tower. This 15-story sanctuary of healing offers patients a full range of comprehensive heart and vascular care, including 12 hybrid operating rooms housing electrophysiology, vascular and invasive cardiology.
Practice Description
This is an employment opportunity part of AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG). AHMG is a sister organization of AdventHealth which employs over 700 physicians in nearly 70 specialties. This opportunity includes the benefits of call coverage and competitive compensation. AdventHealth Altamonte Springs was established as the first satellite campus of the Florida Hospital system in 1973 and has grown into the leading health care provider in Seminole County. The 398-bed hospital cares for more than 200,000 patients a year, including 84,000 emergency patients, 23,000 inpatients, 2,500 baby deliveries, approximately 12,000 surgical cases, and 98,171 outpatient procedures. AdventHealth Altamonte Springs is known for its innovative and highly technical care, continually seeks to enhance the patient experience through unique offerings such as a Concierge Service for patients and employees.
Since 1908, AdventHealth Orlando has cared for the Central Florida community as well as patients from around the world.
