Performance Marketing Funnel Specialist

Job description
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced individual performance marketer (not an agency) who can fully own and execute our performance marketing funnel from ad setup to conversion.
Running and optimizing paid traffic (primarily Meta, potentially other platforms)
Building and managing high-converting funnels inside GoHighLevel
You will be responsible for the entire performance system — from campaign strategy and creative direction to funnel builds, automation, tracking, and conversion optimization.
Paid Media (Primary Focus:
Meta Ads)
Campaign strategy and account structure
Ad setup and optimization
Creative direction (UGC angles, hooks, messaging frameworks)
Writing ad copy (primary text, hooks, headlines)
A/B testing strategy
Scaling winning campaigns
Potential expansion into other performance channels (Google, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
Funnel & Conversion Infrastructure (GoHighLevel)
Building landing pages natively in GoHighLevel
Designing high-converting funnel flows
Setting up automations (email, SMS, follow-ups, triggers, workflows)
Form logic, tagging, segmentation
Pipeline and CRM setup
Optimization of conversion rates across the funnel
Tracking & Data Ownership
Pixel setup (Meta, GA, etc.)
Event tracking & attribution
Connecting platforms properly
Ensuring clean data flow
Reporting and performance insights
Making data-driven optimization decisions
You should be comfortable taking full ownership of the performance engine — from click to conversion.
Required Experience
Proven track record running profitable Meta ad campaigns
Strong understanding of performance marketing funnels
Direct experience building funnels inside GoHighLevel
Experience setting up automations and workflows in GoHighLevel
Strong understanding of tracking, pixels, and attribution
Ability to analyze data and optimize based on metrics
Experience writing direct-response ad and funnel copy
Not a Fit If
You are an agency or part of an agency
You only specialize in media buying but not funnel building
You only build funnels but don't run paid traffic
You rely heavily on external teams to execute
