Job summary
We are recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our MEICA Water team as we look ahead to tackling some of the UK's most technically challenging projects & AMP8 programmes. You will play a pivotal role in utilising your technical expertise on a wide range of clean water and wastewater projects both regionally and across the UK.Arcadis is looking for someone who can work independently and collaboratively within the team, providing technical delivery on complex engineering projects related to water and wastewater industry. The ideal candidate should have experience working with digital design platforms, leading design services for new and existing assets, ensuring safety standards are met,
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering innovative solutions based on client needs, coordinating work with multi-disciplinary teams, establishing relationships with clients and partners
The ideal candidate should have degree in Mechanical Engineering or other directly related degree incorporated or chartered engineer status (or approaching) membership of relevant professional institution (e.g IMechE IET CIWEM)
Significant experience track record in technical delivery process plant systems complex engineering projects preferably related water wastewater industry Experience working design construct projects using digital design platforms Team leader collaborative behaviours Feasibility detailed stage delivery experience
