    The Lead SME Software Developer will lead all work under this activity, managing another SME Software Developer and two Senior Software Developers.

    Both SME Developers and must have at a minimum 5+ years documented experience, and have the knowledge, skills, and abilities in all of the following requirements:

    Strong experience with Software development lifecycle
    Strong knowledge of server-side web application development with ASP.NET and similar technologies with C#
    Strong knowledge of Angular JS 8 or higher, typescript, and NPM
    Strong knowledge of client-side programming with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
    Strong knowledge of Web Service programming with ASP.NET Web Services, WCF, and Workflow Services
    Strong background with Heterogeneous System Integration
    Strong background with Database Design and Development, such as implementing
    Stored Procedures, Views, Triggers, Database Encryption, and data modeling
    Strong understanding of Active Directory Services programming, such as domain integration, account creation, and account updates
    Familiarity with HSPD-12 Identity and Access management
    Strong background with security practices including Authentication Mechanisms, such as Windows Authentication, NTLM, Kerberos, Certificates, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
    Shall have Windows Server experience including IIS Web Server
    Shall be a self-starter with the ability to lead other developers
    Shall have the ability to communicate system architectural vision to other developers
    Software Development, Maintenance, and Enhancement
    Provide quality Level of Effort hours for Change Requests
    Deploy high-quality code that accurately meets the requirements
    Ensure releases are successful without introduction of unexpected problems or impacts to existing capabilities
    Ensure minimal need for emergency/corrective maintenance
    Ensure Source Code management practices are followed
    Minimize need to fix the same issue multiple time
    Software Testing - Build and maintain a testing environment to complete:

    Unit Testing
    Integration Testing
    Functional Testing
    System Testing
    Stress Testing
    Performance Testing
    Usability Testing
    Acceptance Testing
    Application and Database Administration
    Support DOIAccess infrastructure team System Level Agreements
    Complete Application and Database administration activities
    Configure and maintain staging/testing and production environments
    Monitor/maintain web and application servers
    Routinely review logs and address any issues
    Troubleshoot application and server issues

    System Documentation
    Complete and maintain all required system documentation.
    Meetings
    Attend meetings, as required
    Perform System level demonstrations
