Job Title: Varsity Tennis Assistant Coach.Location: Upper West Side, Manhattan.Duration: March 11th to May 14th.Pay: $2000 - $3000 stipend (Depending on Experience).Schedule: 3/4 times a week, including 8-10 matches.

We are representing a private school on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, looking for a varsity assistant tennis coach for the spring season.

Responsibilities:

• Coaching Sessions: Conducting tennis coaching sessions for varsity-level players.
• Match Preparation: Prepare and strategize for 8-10 matches throughout the season.
• Preseason Training: Initiate and oversee preseason training starting from March 11th.
• Spring Break: Allow for a two-week break during spring break (exact dates to be determined).
• Focus Period: Main coaching responsibilities concentrated in April and early May.
• Player Development: Work on the overall skill development of co-ed players.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate with the head coach and other coaching staff for effective team coordination.

Requirements:

• Tennis Coaching Experience: Proven experience in coaching tennis, especially at the varsity level.
• Flexibility: Ability to adapt coaching methods to cater to co-ed teams.
• Availability: Commitment to a 6-week coaching period, with a focus on April and early May.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively interact with players, parents, and coaching staff.
• Location: Must be able to travel to the Upper West Side of Manhattan for coaching sessions and matches.
