    Were looking for a compensation specialist to join our ranks. Do you pride yourself on your attention to detail and organizational skills? Are you a team player with a can-do attitude and a relentless spirit of self-motivation? Our Compensation team is looking for someone who possesses these traits, in addition to being a customer service expert with top-notch problem-solving and multitasking skills. As a compensation specialist, you will collaborate with departments to resolve issues and maintain advisor compensation information, as well as keep track of revenue and processing payments.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Entering daily totals for all revenue received with near-perfect accuracy
    • Processing bimonthly revenue payments to advisors for equity, insurance, and advisory compensation
    • Generating revenue statements and checks
    • Facilitating direct deposits
    • Coordinating mailing and overnight delivery of statements
    • Managing and maintaining additional compensation information
    • Collaborating with departments throughout the firm, as well as with fund companies, to research and resolve inquiries submitted via web, phone, fax, or email
    • Performing special projects and tasks as needed

    Core Strengths and Skills

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel)
    • Ability to quickly learn other Windows-based software
    • Effective communication skills, both written and oral
    • Attention to detail that stands out as a top skill
    • Patience for repetitive duties and data entry
    • An eye for process improvements and a passion for quality assurance
    • Able to solve problems in an efficient and professional manner
    • Exemplary phone skills
    • Works well both on a team and independently

    Additional Skills and Knowledge

    • College degree or equivalent professional experience is a must
    • Accounting or financial services operations experience is preferred
    • At least 6 months of customer service experience is preferred
